The position is for an Assistant Block Manager offered as both part-time or full time.
The position would suit a person who is looking to move into block management or further their career. Drive and passion to deliver great customer service, and competent knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential. The person must be able to adapt to the changing pace of block management, completing tasks within the given time frame, as well as the ability to work under their own initiative.
The candidate’s personality, ethos and general outlook on life is more important than knowledge of block management as full training will be given on both block management and the systems we use. It is our ambition that the candidate will achieve AIRPM qualifications in 2 years. The training will be covered by one on one sessions and the candidate to undergoing self-learning as well.
Some of the duties include, responding to client, leaseholder and residents questions, maintaining the portfolio database, responding to maintenance issues and issuing work instructions, issuing Ground Rent and Service Charge part period demands.
While the candidate will be reporting to the Head of Block Management on a day to day basis, we are a close knit team, with each member assisting with training and taking interest in the candidates progress.
The Block Management Team have regular meetings and the candidate will be expected to contribute to these meeting as we value and explore every team members ideas and suggestions.
