A Junior Sous Pastry Chef is required to join a leading hotel in Somerset
A leading boutique hotel that offers its guests award winning dining is seeking a Junior Sous Pastry Chef that can run the Pastry Section working under the direction of the Head Chef that has in-depth Pastry Knowledge. In this role of Junior Sous Pastry Chef you will be preparing multi-AA Rosette fine dining desserts; Afternoon Tea Pastries and all yeast products served in the hotel. This role will require you to manage your section whilst assisting with the training of the junior member of the team that will be required to cover your section during your absence. The kitchen has a small brigade which work closely together to ensure the department runs smoothly.
A Pastry Chef de Partie who has a background working in hotels with at least two AA Rosettes but is looking to step up into a Junior Sous Pastry Chef role would suit this role. The ability to manage a busy section with a variety of different menus is essential. All applicants should have stable CVs with longevity in each role.
