Junior Sous Chef- The Fishpool Inn

The Fishpool Inn is an award winning gastro pub owned and operated by Nelson Hotels. This fantastic gastro pub was recently awarded ' Best Family Dining Pub' at the Cheshire Life Food and Drink awards.

An opportunity to join the team has arisen for a full time Junior Sous Chef with a real and strong passion for fresh local ingredients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using seasonal local produce to a high standard and quality. As Junior Sous Chef you will possess excellent knowledge of GP’s, achieving targets, as well as the ability to lead by example. You will be ambitious, motivated and organised and be able to demonstrate cooking at this level in previous roles or at a Senior CDP level.

This position would require a responsible individual with good attention to detail and strong organisational and supervisory skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful, committed Junior Sous Chef who wants to learn, is ambitious and has a sense of hard work and fun.

The successful candidate will have:

·Previous experience working within a similar role in a fast paced high volume environment

·Be a strong team player with the ability to lead and develop a team under the support of the head chef

·Be results driven and have a passion for delivering high quality food

·Excellent communication skills

·Outstanding customer service ethic
