A fresh food pub in County Durham is currently seeking to appoint a Junior Sous Chef
Working within the kitchen team of a highly regarded, fresh food pub as a Junior Sous Chef this role will see you working with high quality, fresh ingredients to serve modern British dishes to the 60 cover restaurant at the pub. In the role of Junior Sous Chef you will be required to have all round cooking skills with the ability to work on all sections in order to give full support to the senior chefs including deputising for them on their days off and helping to ensure all members of the team consistently work to the standards expected by the owners.
A very strong Chef de Partie or experienced Junior Sous Chef who has been working in similar kitchens ideally with knowledge of one AA Rosette cooking would be ideal for this position. A wide knowledge of sections in the kitchen as well as previous supervisory experience are both important.
