A popular Chester hotel is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen
A Junior Sous Chef role is now available at a large hotel where you focus on the preparing dishes for the restaurant although there may be some small private dining events that you also cater for. The restaurant seats 100 covers with menus featuring grills and sharing boards with a combination of classic and modern dishes on the menu and a popular afternoon tea menu all served daily. As Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working across the sections in the kitchen, whilst assisting the senior chefs with the supervision of the CDPs and Commis as well as deputising for the Sous Chef in their absence.
A Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie who has plenty of experience working in all fresh food kitchens where you were catering for large numbers of covers on a daily basis. All round cooking skills are essential alongside good supervisory/ team leadership skills.
