As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the wider kitchen team including Sous, Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs in order to consistently deliver to the expectation of Members, guests and management. You will be expected to assist in delivering against budget requirement as set out by the CMC and board, including food, wage and all other costs attached to the department. The role will see you take responsibility for:
Planning and producing rotas that ensure correct cover to manage the business requirements within budget.
Process all orders through Procure Wizard, adhering to supplier cut off points.
Accept daily deliveries and ensure all are in order by checking weights and quality.
Prepare menu changes in advance working with the team, using the sales mix.
The Person: Whether you are currently a Junior Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie looking to develop your career, you will have at least 1 to 2 relevant years experience in a similar 5 star kitchen environment and have the passion, skills and ambition to thrive in a fast paced kitchen.
