A Junior Sous Chef role is available at a four star hotel located in Lancashire
The Head Chef of a four star coastal hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of ten chefs working in the kitchens of the property. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to cater for all of the outlets at the hotel which include a contemporary restaurant; banqueting department and the popular afternoon tea service. As this is a senior role in the kitchen you will be expected to deputise for the Sous Chef in their absence as well as becoming involved with bringing new ideas to the menus and assisting with the supervision of the junior members of the brigade.
A Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who has a background in similar all fresh food kitchens ideally based in a hotel operation although restaurants will also be considered. The ability to work under pressure whilst catering for a number of different dining options and working across the kitchen sections is essential.
