This lively award-winning gastro pub is currently seeking a creative Junior Sous Chef with plenty of enthusiasm and a real passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.
Benefits include many straight shifts, 40-50 hour week and amazing tips of approximately £5,000 per annum!
This is an independent business, which is very much a destination venue with a superb food trade. You should therefore have a real interest in working with fresh, seasonal produce.
Previous experience within a first class, professional kitchen will be essential. Working within a brigade of 5 chefs you will have the opportunity to cover all sections of the kitchen and input your own ideas onto the menus. Other duties will involve stock control, ordering and training the junior members of the team.
This is a live out position and due to the pubs rural location, you would require your own transport, although you are only a few miles from a large town, with excellent amenities.
