Conditional to an offer of employment, you will be required to complete a 'Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard, Customer Service Practitioner'. On the job training will be given to support specifics (minimum 20% of working hours will be set aside for training). The expected Apprenticeship duration is 13 months. The intention is that this role will develop and become a full time permanent position, with the successful candidate having an opportunity to enjoy long term training and career development.
Working alongside the Director’s PA, you will be supporting all team members. You will be a first point of contact for telephone enquiries and will be required to distribute calls and take accurate telephone messages. You will schedule client appointments via email on behalf of Account Executives. Using Microsoft Excel, you will be responsible for downloading and formatting the debtors report weekly. You will then go on to chase clients for outstanding payments via email. You will also be responsible for monitoring stationary and office refreshments, placing orders as required. Other duties to support the business will include copy typing of documents, typing from audio dictations, scanning, filing, and shredding of documents.
The ideal candidate will have achieved English grade A/B (5/6/7) and Maths grade C or above (4) at GCSE. In addition, the ideal candidate will be reliable, have a confident and mature attitude, and a pleasant and happy to help telephone manner. Accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction are all essential. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook is desired. Driver required due to location.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 17:00 with a one hour unpaid lunchbreak.
