Junior Marketing Manager - Software

My client - a leading software business that automates management of data center infrastructure and services are currently recruiting for a Junior Marketing Manager to join their London team.

This is a hands-on executing role that requires a creative marketing professional. The company offers flexible home working - you will be required to be in the office 2 days a week minimum.

The Junior Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a wide range of B2B marketing activities with a focus on developing qualified leads. You will manage exhibits and team participation in trade shows and events in EMEA and India regions. This position is perfect for anyone who wants to expand their experience into all aspects of B2B marketing, especially marketing operations and coordinated efforts with Sales. You will work from the London office and 20% of your time will be spent traveling to manage trade shows and events.

What you will actually do:

  • Work with US Marketing team to develop EMEA Marketing Plan including programs and activities to create demand and generate leads
  • Maintain Marketing Calendar of planned activities
  • Collaborate with Marketing team members and vendors including Public Relations, Product Marketing, Website, Social Media, US Demand Gen and others - to provide context around UK marketing needs
  • Work with your Marketing team members and Sales in EMEA and India to maximize the ROI of EMEA and India based programs and activities. Leverage existing campaigns and learnings from other regions and initiatives
  • Manage trade show and events details including registration, shipping of trade show booth and supplies, ordering of services and materials, onsite coordination and perform in-booth duties. Requires processing orders with related vendors, managing shipments and maintaining inventory of supplies and collateral
  • Use marketing automation system, Marketo, to conduct email marketing campaigns and webinar invitations in compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Provide reports on campaign effectiveness using Marketo and Salesforce
  • Develop email marketing content, including coordinating with designers for images, implement in Marketo system
  • Assist with production and proof reading of company materials as needed for trade shows, events, webinars and email marketing campaigns. Coordinate translation to other languages as needed
  • Assist with ongoing development and maintenance of a comprehensive brand with adherence to established brand standards
  • Maintain budget tracking of campaigns to ensure Quarterly spend stays within budget

What you will need:

  • 5 years B2B marketing experience within a business of a similar size (200 people globally)
  • EMEA Marketing experience within Technology (Software, Hardware etc)
  • Marketing Degree - Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience of trade Show coordination
  • Experience with Marketo - desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to learn new software applications
  • Creative, smart, energetic and motivate to learn new skills
  • A hands-on approach
