We are looking for bright and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in London in a Junior Legal Administrator ('Professional Support’) role.
You will directly provide all round first class secretarial and administrative support to our patent fee earners in either the Engineering or the Chemical-Life Sciences team. This is a busy role and you will be joining a team of experienced Professional Support who, alongside the fee earners, will train you to meet the high standards of performance that is expected. Your main responsibilities initially will include, but are not limited to:
- Diary management
Client liaison/meetings/drafting email replies to clients for fee earner approval
Preparing cost estimates
Preparation of foreign patent and design filings and instructions
Change of Name, Assignment and Due Diligence projects
Liaising with fee earners and Accounts team/invoicing
Monitoring emails and ensuring everything is actioned
Collecting official post and distributing to the relevant fee earner
Generating standard letters for fee earner review
Responsibility for client portfolios
You will need some experience of working in an office environment, in a secretarial / administration role. You will also have proven experience of dealing with deadlines, be organised and have excellent time management skills. More importantly, you will be energetic with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
