We are BWL Consulting Ltd, a property and construction focused consulting firm headquarted in Darlington. We provide our clients with advice and support across three teams; Commercial Services, Professional Bid Services and Technical Services. Our clients include; high net worth individuals (investors), property developers, M&E contractors, faciliaites management providers, civil engineering contractors, builders and large multinational corporations.
Due to rapid growth we have announced plans to open new offices in Birmingham and Dublin and we require an additional team member to join our Commercial Services team.
You will ideally be a law graduate with an LLB(Hons), a junior lawyer / paralegal / commercial manager with an entreprenurial and commercial mindset. You will be a highly motivated individual, someone who will relish working in a fast paced environment and keen to learn. Preference would be given to someone who has some experience in drafting contracts either in a law firm or in house legal environment.
Sitting within our Commercial Services team and reporting to the Director - Commercial Services, the successful candidate with be responsible for:
- Drafting standard terms and conditions
- Reviewing contracts and supporting clients with negotiations
- Managing contract disputes
- Providing commercial advice to clients on a range of business issues
- Drafting precedent agreements for internal use

This role is unique and the package offered will depend on the experience and skills of the successful candidate. This role will initially be based in Darlington with the option to work from home post onboarding and training.
