Junior IT Project Coordinator sought to join the Project Management team and provide support to IT Development department of a multi-national Insurance Corporation where you will focus on the delivery of enterprise level software systems.

This is a Junior-level role which will be supported by other more senior Project Managers and Analysts within the department but will require an understanding of some aspects of IT systems, Software Systems and Processes. Ultimately this will give the right individual a platform from which to develop a career within IT Project Management and/or Project Coordination/Operations.

The Junior IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational support to global initiatives, delivering accurate and timely operational reports and dashboards to the team and supporting the planning and organisation of team activities. You will work closely with Lead Architects, Project Managers and IT Service Managers on a daily basis. On a day-to-day basis you will maintain operational processes and controls, ensuring that project information provided is accurate, up to date and is suitable to be communicated and support the Project Managers on global financial tracking and reporting activities, including creating dashboards and analytical reports.

We are searching for a candidate who wants to become a dedicated Project Support Analyst, and eventually an IT Project Manager or Project Management Office Analyst. You will be educated to degree level, have an awareness/understanding and interest in enterprise level IT systems and potentially have worked within a similar Project / Operations Analyst position or another role within the insurance / reinsurance sector. You may be a fresh graduate with no commercial experience looking for their first role of this nature and as such will possess a strong academic background which you will be able to demonstrate at interview stage.

You will be a clear, concise communicator with excellent written communication skills and ideally may gained some experience of report writing using tools including Word, Excel and Outlook. No direct experience is necessary although some commercial experience would be preferred in a role which required strong organisational abilities and ideally some level of administration.
