A leading Asset Manager are looking for a Junior Investment Risk Oversight Analyst to join their growing team in London. This would suit someone with 6 months + experience within an Asset Manager, undertaking an Investment Compliance or Risk role. There will be a strong preference for those who are on a short notice period or immediately available.

As a growing business, the requirement for more sophisticated investment analysis, reporting and governance has grown with it. Therefore, this is a new role within the Performance & Risk team.

Responsibilities:
  • To monitor funds and mandates compliance with investment restrictions on thinkFolio
  • Look for ways to enhance the current process the team carries out to ensure all funds and mandates operate within guidelines and reduce the amount of time this requires
  • To manage investment guideline incidents and potential breaches directly with portfolio managers and third parties e.g. trustees and ensure appropriate reporting and MI is produced
  • To code investment restrictions on new accounts and update existing portfolios with any changes and to keep abreast of changes to the way funds and mandates are managed
  • Conduct various investment monitoring checks on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis

Essential skillset:
  • Proactive individual with experience of monitoring restrictions for an asset management house
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
