My Hertfordshire client is an award winning creative agency, located just a short hop from the centre of London (25 minutes from Kings Cross by train) and specialise in the retail sector.

The role sits within a small team, reporting to the Creative Director and working alongside a Copywriter and Artworker. They will be expected to work directly with the Client Services team too.

They are looking for ideally someone with at least 1-3 years’ commercial experience - but essentially they just want someone who’s passionate, dedicated, creative, keen AND up to speed on Adobe CS. They love to find someone very creatively engaged who is interested in art, fashion, music and into digital / tech / internet culture.

The workload is fairly varied and there is always more to do for those who have the initiative to seek out new projects!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

GRAPHIC DESIGN / LAYOUTS

  • Logo design and branding

  • Signage

  • Full point-of-sale suites and out of home posters

  • Web banners (both static and animated)

  • Basic web design / mobile web design

  • Social media banners/tiles/posts

  • Presentations

  • Press ads/posters/direct mailers and flyers

  • Artworking

CONCEPTS / VISUALISATION

  • Coming up with and visualising new in-store and promotional concepts, including experiential and events

  • Brainstorming and idea generation for new campaigns

AD HOC

  • Occasionally assisting the Creative Director with shoot prep and post production

  • Content creation for client blogs / online magazines

  • Social media posts - both for them and its clients

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator proficient

Desirable: Illustrator, basic code (HTML/CSS), basic video editing, Wordpress knowledge

Package offered

  • Salary of £20-25K depending on experience

  • 22 days holiday
