Junior Front End / UX Developer

LearningBook, based on Manchester Science Park, is a leading developer of early-years education software. We are looking to recruit a Front End Developer to work on our exciting and popular digital learning journey application. This is a hands-on front-end development and UX role, working with the following technologies: JavaScript ; C#; Web API; HTML5; CSS; Knockout.js and Durandal.

We are looking for talented, committed and self-motivated individuals who relish a challenge and wants to be a part of our success.

Whilst the majority of the role will be UX and front-end application development, the role will also require the successful applicant to be involved in all areas of the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications: A minimum grade 2.2 degree (or equivalent experience) in an IT-related subject with a bias towards software development.

Skills: We require individuals who have a rounded experience of IT covering all aspects of application delivery. This will include design, UX, software development, testing, deployment and post implementation support.

Specific application development skills are flexible but should include HTML5; CSS; JavaScript, Knockout.js and Mobile websites.
