A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly competent junior level embedded software engineer to join our client, a high tech development company who are creating products related to 5G networking.

This is a new team that will work exclusively on the creation of a brand new cutting edge product range based on an Embedded Linux platform.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside some of the best engineers in the business and really hone your skills, while contributing to a market leading project.

The successful candidate will be doing a lot more than just coding, and will be viewed as instrumental in solving the new problems that will arise throughout the development process. As such, whilst this is a junior post, we are looking for a high calibre individual who can think outside the box, and look at challenges that have never existed before and create solutions.

A fantastic location, easily commutable in the North of Cambridge, and a very positive environment in a highly skilled team awaits the successful candidate.

Requirements for application

  • 1+ years experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
  • Embedded Linux
  • Highly competent problem solver

Beneficial - Not Required

  • Radio or communications product experience, preferably with an understanding of networking / communication protocols etc
  • Board bring up
  • Device Drivers
  • Some understanding of Python
