Due to the increasing success of our innovative design solutions, the UK’s leading Independent Catering Consultancy requires a Junior Design Consultant for our super busy studio.
As Junior Design Consultant you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Design and leading your own design projects from inception to completion. We therefore require a very special mix of creativity, with the addition of practical application and consideration to finishes such as flooring, lighting and acoustics that will influence the initial design and end result. Creativity and pragmatism is the key. Fantastic designs that really work are our minimum benchmark.
You will be a confident, creative individual, passionate about producing exciting design work under pressure, often handling multiple projects at once. You will be able to create stunning 3D visuals, using software packages such as Google Sketchup, for multi-million-pound interior design projects, which will amaze our clients, displaying freshness and a unique insight.
Our Clients are at the heart of everything we do, so you will be equipped with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise with clients and contractors with ease, delivering excellent customer service.
The post also requires that you handle all of the company’s internal design requirements, such as producing adverts and company promotional material. You will therefore have an excellent grasp of English, and have compelling and persuasive copywriting skills. You will be both Mac and PC literate. Your portfolio will demonstrate your extensive knowledge of Adobe products including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Qualifications and experience are advantageous but not as essential as raw talent.
The right candidate will wow us with an impressive portfolio. We want to see that you can think outside the box.
A full UK driving licence and own transport is essential. Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
