Our client delivers modern web applications, mobile apps and innovative digital solutions. They design, develop and grow compelling customer experiences across sports games, e-commerce and digital marketing to drive engagement and revenues.

They are looking for an ambitious Database Developer to join the team. This role will suit an IT graduate or someone with some database professional experience. You will be part of a multi-skilled agile team and will get to work across live service data operations as well as parts of the SDLC. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the transition to new database technologies and services – specifically Amazon RDS – Aurora / MySQL.

Main Duties:
Develop and maintain high quality and robust database solutions – data extracts, queries, scripts,
Accurate delivery of ad hoc data requests and user support.
Data related testing, fault finding and resolution of issues
Opportunity to learn & implement data security best practise and adhere to guidelines

Professional Skills & Abilities 
Knowledge and experience in SQL databases, RDBMS, management and development tools
Ability to design database structures and associated queries and scripts
Ability to interpret requirements and deliver to agreed schedules
Ability to implement thorough testing of applications and scripts
Ability to support and maintain databases
