Our client a leading global events company is actively recruiting a junior conference producer to join their team. Our client is willing to invest time and comprehensive training for the right applicants you must however have had some conference programme / event agenda research expertise. Or alternatively if you are a conference producer with 1yrs expertise then this is a career move to join a highly successful global events company.

This is a vibrant team and growing rapidly, boasting a successful number of international exhibitions and conferences which are produced yearly. As a result they are now seeking a creative and dynamic Junior Conference Producer who possesses a minimum of 3-6 months experience of assisting conference programmes / event agendas, with an enthusiastic personality to join their existing team to work across a number of large scale global events.The Junior Conference Producer duties will include:

- Conducting detailed research across a complete cross-section of the target market, through telephone and desk based research and meetings with leading experts and senior industry figures to form attractive conference topics and determine which topics are needed by the market.
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of competitive events through websites, brochures and talking with their speakers
- Analysis of multi-source research to assist with the copywriting of compelling event programme agendas
- Identifying and contacting potential speakers, mainly by phone, and recruiting them onto the programme. Negotiating speaker fees and expenses and staying within the guidelines set down on the event target sheet
- Writing promotional copy for the sales letter, brochure and website and seeing the brochure through from design to typesetting
- Working with the marketing department to ensure that we are targeting the right market.
- Writing focused letters to specific groups of people to promote the event, sourcing appropriate media partners, working with the conference chairmen, speakers and sponsors to get them to promote the event
- Working with Sponsorship and Exhibition teams to find leads and identify and convert additional revenue generating opportunities
- Working with the global operations team to ensure that event programme costs are kept to a minimum and that the event runs smoothly on the day
- Sourcing replacement speakers when necessary
- At event research to identify potential future topics and ways in which events can be improved
