Junior Account Manager

Location: Sawston

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Salary: £25-29k + bonus

A fast-growing, global software company is seeking a Junior Account Manager to support customer success, retention and commercial growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and developing commercial skills. You will support existing client accounts, help identify opportunities to expand product usage, and contribute directly to revenue and retention targets, with training and guidance from experienced Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with clients via phone and email

• Build strong relationships and understand customer needs

• Identify opportunities to increase value through additional features or services

• Support renewal, upsell and account growth activity

• Assist with product demonstrations and customer training

• Help resolve customer queries by working with internal teams

• Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation

• Proactively engage at-risk or low-usage accounts

About You

• Strong communication and telephone skills

• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple client interactions

• Customer-focused with a commercial mindset

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Keen to learn and develop a career in account management or sales

Desirable

• CRM experience

• Previous customer-facing, sales or account management experience

• Interest in technology and software

• Curiosity about using AI tools to work more effectively
