Junior Account Manager (Sales / Business Development)

Our client, a leading paperboard brand, is now looking for a Junior Account Manager that can show both new and existing customers the value of their products.
Your future challenge
You will actively look for new sales opportunities and build close relationships with their existing customers. It is your job to introduce their products to customers, make offers and negotiate prices. Creating a strategy and a plan for all your customers, they expect you to develop and grow your market as well as gathering and analysing market and competitor information.
You will be part of their European Sales team, consisting of about 45 people based across Europe. You can be based anywhere in UK or Ireland, working from a home office and reporting to the Regional Manager Benelux, UK and Ireland. You will spend more than half your time travelling and visiting customers.
To succeed in this role
They are looking for a B2B sales professional with experience in the market. You will be outgoing and seek new opportunities for expanding the business. Eager and not afraid of a challenge, you will be good at building relationships with existing and future customers, and also capable of closing a deal. You have a good understanding of - the sometimes complex - wishes of their customers and you find creative solutions on how to meet those.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to have a full driving licence.
