**Junior Sous Chef - Hotel & Restaurant - Tunbridge Wells - £22,000pa**
We are currently looking for an exceptional Junior Sous Chef for this 1 Rosette hotel and restaurant in Tunbridge Wells. This is a beautiful 16th century sandstone manor house hotel with 34 individually designed bedrooms, along with a Rosetted French Bistro style menu.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and a progressive work history, Rosette experience isn't essential but will be favourable, ideally you will have hotel experience although quality restaurant backgrounds will serve you well. Working within an existing team of 12 you will be responsible for all junior staff so a calm assertiveness is important.
It will be down to you as Junior Sous chef to develop junior members of the team whilst deputising for the Sous chef, whilst maintaining the exceptionally high standards expected at this quality restaurant.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met. You will be ambitious and looking to work toward a Senior Sous position within the company.
The position is paying up to £22,000 per annum plus tips.
