Joinery Workshop Manager
Workshop Joinery Manager required for a busy workshop in Norwich.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a joinery workshop manager to join a renowned bespoke joiners in Norwich.
You will be joining an established team, with limited staff turnover. The directors are keen to bring someone in who is proactive, and able to be forward thinking in their methods.
This is a leadership position within the business, so you will need to be commercially aware and able to engage with staff at all levels.
You will be ensuring a high quality of work, liaising with customers and managing the time spent on the portfolio of works and possibly assist in estimating as required. You will be managing your team in health and safety, competing timesheets and managing waste.
This organisation prides itself on offering bespoke joinery, and has been involved with some of the most complicated and historic builds in Norwich. They also work with leading construction organisations to supply bulk products.
The current post-holder is due to retire in October, the view is to get someone in to do a comprehensive handover. This is an exciting role for a proactive person who wants to be ambitious and make a difference in a company.
