These time served joiners positions shall be within the newly established in house repairs teams to carry out all refurbishment work and repairs for the Internal Wall Insulation Project. A City and Guilds, suitable experience and a proven track record is essential along with good communication skills and team worker. You should also be able to demonstrate competency in relation to health and safety. A driving license and the ability to travel within Aberdeenshire is essential for the position.
Additional hours shall be as per operational requirements. We operate a flexible and modern approach with all holidays entitlements. There is a requirement to be available on a Rota basis to cover out of hours duties.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
