Job Coach

Full Time 36.5 hours per week

Location - Inverness/Elgin, (Highlands & Islands area)

We have a vacancy for a Job Coach to help support individuals with health conditions and disabilities into work through the Fair Start Scotland programme. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting individuals to overcome barriers and move closer to the labour market. They will cover mainly Inverness/Elgin, as well as the general Highlands & Islands area.

The successful candidate should have experience of:

  • Working with disabled, and/or disadvantaged people accessing employment focused programmes
  • Undertaking jobsearch activities, confidence building, and training where appropriate.
  • Engaging with employers to help find suitable jobs, as well as being able to support the individuals in work.
  • Working to targets is crucial to the post and equally important that you are able to ensure all funder expectations for quality and compliance are met including data input and file completion.

It is desirable that the post holder would be qualified to HNC, (SCQF Level 7), but relevant experience will be considered of greater weight. A full driving licence is essential.
