Our Local Authority Client is looking to appoint 2 Job Brokerage Officers for the Business Growth, Investment and Employment team to actively seek vacancies from employers and promote these to suitable clients. The post-holder will also develop and maintain strong working relationships with employers and external partners and represent the team at internal and external meetings accordingly. The post holder will need to keep abreast of current polices and best practice relating to employment and skills and support the implementation of team strategies to maximise on sustained employment outcomes.

The post-holder will have previous experience of working on employment and training initiatives with multi-agency partners and employers to develop and implement new recruitment schemes. He/she will have demonstrable experience of working with jobseekers including, those that are disadvantaged in the labour market and face barriers to employment and of delivering successful outcomes in a target driven environment.
