This stunning picturesque Wiltshire Hotel is looking for a passionate and dedicated Jnr Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen team and uphold the properties reputation and high standards.
Our Clients historic manor house is set within stunning surroundings and has luxurious accommodation with modern amenities for guests to enjoy their relaxing breaks.The kitchen team, led by a creative Head Chef are passionate about using seasonal produce, and with their very own kitchen garden they grow a huge range of herbs, fruit and vegetables that they use to deliver a delightful menu of fresh and flavoursome dishes throughout the year.
Main Duties of this Jnr Sous Chef role are:
- Act as a deputy to the Sous Chef, supervising all activities across the kitchen
- Help lead, co-ordinate and motivate the team
- Produce and deliver quality food
- Have strong knowledge of all sections
- Ensure daily food preparation meets recipe
- Manage a clean and efficient kitchen
- Sample, smell and observe food to ensure recipes and standards are meet
- Conduct daily food line inspections to ensure quality is maintained
