We have an excellent opportunity for a Jnr DevOps Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator (LAMP / LEMP / PHP / WebOps), who has proven commercial Linux systems administration / Devops experience, to join and exciting fast growing Software Company in Northampton. You'll be responsible for maintaining and scaling and evolving their Linux / Web servers and the services they run.

The successful Linux Dev Ops / Linux Systems Administrator will become an active member of my clients' large development team (PHP / LAMP / LEMP), and take responsibility for managing their platform, as well as developing and maintaining automated build processes (DOCKER), and internal services.

The ideal DevOps Engineer will ideally have experience of AWS, my client currently runs a Google Cloud environment but is looking to evolve into an AWS environment and the DevOps engineer will be responsible for taking the Environment from Google Cloud to AWS EC2.

As a DevOps Engineer you will have extensive Linux knowledge utilised within a Web Operations environment (WebOps), with proven commercial experience in a Systems Admin role, including maintaining, developing and supporting Linux-based systems (Red Hat / CentOS or variants). You will have excellent knowledge of internet technologies and how they work at protocol level, and experience hosting with the LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP) or LEMP stack (Linux / Nginx / MariaDB / PHP)

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Riak, Couchbase, ElasticSearch etc) would be highly beneficial, as would MySQL & PCI Compliance knowledge.

Bonus points for experience with off the shelf CMS too (Joomla, Wordpress, Magento, Drupal).
