Hays Digital Technology are delighted to be working as the exclusive recruitment partner for MATRIXX Software, an exciting Silicon Valley backed start up in Ipswich, who are looking for a Java Software Engineer to work in their Digital commerce billing Infrastructure team.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to join the MATRIXX development team responsible for the critical path of distributing data efficiently and reliably across multiple forwarding and processing nodes that comprise the MATRIXX solutions.
As the Java Software Engineer you will work as part of a newly formed team on a Greenfield project to build a new billing platform, including supporting systems and mobile app SDK, to complement the existing suite of MATRIXX software products. You will be involved across the whole development lifecycle and play an integral role in shaping the future of the solution.
As the successful Java Software Engineer you will be experienced across full stack development and an expert in all things Java. You will also have a good knowledge of scripting languages (preferably python), Unix / Linux systems and both SQL and non SQL databases. Coupled with this you should be highly team oriented, collaborative and flexible, with previous start-up experience or knowledge of the telecommunications, financial/billing, or enterprise software space a plus.
