The Company

A new name on the Manchester Java-scene are looking to several Java Developers to join their brand-new Manchester Office that opened in October 2017. They are looking for 1 hands-on Technical Lead & 3 Java Developers to help scale & enhance their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product that is used by some of the worlds largest e-commerce businesses. This will in effect have a start-up feel but incoming Java Developers can view this as a chance to develop their own career as this office will only continue to grow, creating chances for Developers to become Tech Leads as the office scales.

Their products have been developed using technology such as Java 8, Spring (Core, Boot and Security) with Hibernate, MongoDB, Docker and Cassandra, with Cloudformation and Puppet used to manage & deploy.


The client are looking for Software Engineer, but also and a Technical Lead that have experience of leading Scrum teams building scalable software using micro-services architectures with Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, No-SQL database technology with Docker (or similar) and Puppet (or similar)

Java Developers ideally will have worked with Java 8, Spring, Hibernate & have some build & deployment experience.
