I am currently shortlisting for a Java Developer to start with a market leading client based in Oxford as soon as possible who are currently growing their development and QA teams to cope with the demand of new projects and new clients. In this role you will be given all the tools within a flexible and fun environment to produce high quality code, meet deadlines and provide excellent customer.

The successful Java Developer will have the opportunity to work with modern and evolving technologies such as Java 8 and Continuous Integration as well as carry out code review, investigate and resolve support issues and enhance existing features.

This Java developer role is ideal for Java Developers who have some, if not all of the following:

* Java (around 2 years commercially)
* An interest across Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
* Knowledge of web tech's (e.g. JavaScript / HTML)
* Being an Agile advocate
* Excellent communication skills
* A keen problem solve and logical thinker
* Being hands-on and working to deadlines
* Continuous Integration (not essential)

The salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience and comes with great progression opportunities and give you the chance to work with cutting edge technologies.
