Java Engineer | Java Developer | Spring | Hibernate | SQL | Agile

reQiva have started working with a brand new Oxfordshire based client who require a Java Developer to work as part of a small Agile development team designing and developing interfaces and applications. You will have the opportunity to work for an highly successful consultancy company who have a great reputation and a long and growing list of reputable clients.

The successful Java Developer will be exposed to a range of technologies (see below), analyse user requirements and needs as well as support clients and devise efficiency improvements.

This Java developer role is ideal for Java Developers who have experience with:

* Java Development
* SQL (or similar databases)
* Knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript
* Familiar with Agile Principles
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of Spring or Hibernate or similar frameworks
* Git / SVN experience
* Postgres (not essential)

Beneficial but not essential:

* A degree in a Computer or Scientific field (e.g. Physics, Chemistry or Biology)

(This is an urgent requirement and and interviews can be arranged even though the hiring manager is out of the office)

The salary range is from £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and comes with great progression opportunities and other fringe benefits.
(Candidates with desired amount of experience could push the higher end of this range, candidates with real potential and drive could be considered at the lower figure)

Location: commutable from Reading, London, Didcot and Central Oxford to name a few.
