They are looking for the brightest talent to join them, they are scaling up their Java Development team and therefore require a passionate Java Developer ideally with a passion for music to join their family of Java Developers you'll be working on developing platforms that allow their listeners to create personalised playlists, being able to skip tracks, listen to missed shows/podcasts, creating a timetable of their shows to inform their millions of listeners when their favourite presenter/DJ is on. They are creating new features all the time and due to the sheer volume of new features being created right now means their development stack is so varied that you will be kept on your toes!
To succeed in this Java Developer role, you will:
- Have experience of OO programming using Java 7/8/9 and Spring MVC - Experience of Microservices and/or AWS would be a big bonus!
- Be working as part of a 10 person development team
- Be someone who can work independently
- Have an interest in learning new tech such as Docker/Kubernetes, Spring Boot, AWS, Rabbit MQ, Jenkins, Spring Rest, Spring Data, Junit, Mockito - if you already have experience with some of these that would be great!
