Description:- Established Software house based in the heart of London, seek a number of Java Developers to work with highly experienced industry and technical professionals who are focused on delivering cutting edge solutions. Many of my clients projects consist of a number of new, exciting and challenging solutions for existing and new customers.

You will be using Java to create and improve mission critical software for a number of large betting and gaming organisations around the world. You should be passionate about technology, a team player, with a minimum of 12 months continuous experience developing enterprise applications using Java. You will also have had exposure to a variety of development methodologies, test automation tools, and frameworks.

Experience needed for the Java Developer role, should include most of the following:-

  • Excellent understanding of the Java 7 (or later) language, core libraries and principles
  • Appreciation of how algorithm choices affect runtime performance and stability
  • Solid grasp of techniques and options available to deliver well tested software
  • Sound understanding of API definition and evolution concerns
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, distributed logic tracing and memory usage analysis techniques
  • Understanding how to counter complexity in concurrent designs
  • Strong SQL and database design concepts, competence with query analysis and optimisation techniques
  • Comfortable using basic Linux command line tools to perform day-to-day tasks on development servers

Salary for the Java Developer role will be £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and bens
