We have an opportunity to work as an IT Trainer for a leading Law firm based in central London.

Salary- £45-50k per annum

Purpose of the role

This is a new role which reports into the Head of IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a training analysis, preparing all training materials and delivering training/presentations to all Fee Earners and staff. The Primary function of this role will be to provide training to the firm.

Key Responsibilities


  • Perform regular training needs analysis
  • Organising and delivering the induction training for new starters
  • Ensure existing course materials, other learning aids and documentation is kept updated
  • Inputting critique forms into the training database for future analysis
  • Assisting with project roll-outs and testing
  • Design and delivery of training courses of any new software to be rolled out by the IT Department. This is to include the preparation of training materials including manuals, flashcards, e-learning, training exercises and regular floor walking
  • Provide formal classroom training, desk-side training and workshops in all the core software used as well as any other applications
  • Provide training to the Desktop Support team
  • To pass on pertinent information gained whilst training to the rest of the Support team


  • Proven IT training experience with relevant supporting qualifications
  • Professional services background essential
  • A professional telephone manner and excellent customer facing skills
  • An in-depth knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ensure an excellent customer service is delivered to the business through a methodical and professional approach
  • Excellent PC desktop skills
  • Commitment to high levels of Customer Service and satisfaction
  • Good understanding of PC hardware and IT equipment
  • High quality of work
  • Ability to communicate at all levels across the firm
  • Team player with the ability to manage your own individual workload
