I am currently searching for an experienced IT Technician to join a growing IT managed service provider with offices based in St Ives, St Neots & Cambridge. You primary location will be St Ives but will involve occasional travel to other offices and visiting clients on site. This is a mixed 1st/2nd Line support role so previous helpdesk experience is essential, if you have experience visiting clients on site that is a bonus.
Candidates will be required to have in-depth knowledge of:
· Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
· Active Directory
· DNS & DHCP
· Microsoft Exchange
· Office 365
· Networking including Routers and Wireless
· Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Office applications.
Desired knowledge but not essential:
· SQL Server
· Apple MAC Devices
· Mobile devices (Android, iOS and Windows)
You must have the ability to diagnose and repair server and client issues. Be Proactive, organised, be able to manage your own time and have the ability to interact with clients & suppliers of all skill levels and have excellent customer service skills.
Clean Driving Licence required.
Successful candidates will be submitted for a DBS check.
Salary - £18,000-24,000pa depending on experience.
Normal hours of work will be 08:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work one Saturday a month and time in lieu will be provided.
