IT Systems Support Engineer

An interactive communications company situated in London are actively looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer (2nd/ 3rd line) to join their technical team. This is a dynamic and hands-on role working in a successful company who have been established for over two decades.

My client's core services connect people using a range of tools such as social networking and mobile platforms. The Support Engineer will be an integral member of the team providing onsite support alongside managing a range of systems and services.

You will have strong knowledge of Windows Domains, VM environments, SQL Server administration and VoIP technologies supporting the company's systems in a 24 x 7 environment. You would work well in a team environment where your ethos to work is a one

This is a solid opportunity for a Systems Support Engineer to join a stable company who are adaptable and innovative with their approach to technology.

Technical skills & experience

* Experience with VMware ESX and vCenter
* SQL 2005/2008 reports and query
* VoIP telephony implementation & administration experience (SIP)

Although this isn't essential, experience of BT Interconnect (SS7) Telephony and Billing and knowledge of Mobile, SMS and MMS technologies would be a distinct advantage.
