This temp role has the potential for a permanent contract.

Exciting US Tech Company have an urgent requirement for a Front-Line IT Support Analyst

As an IT Support Analyst you will provide innovative and reliable technology solutions to support the London Office, and will ensure their IT systems are running reliably and efficiently.

The Essential skills / qualifications

  • 3+ years of Desktop Support Experience in an enterprise environment
  • Good working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems in an enterprise environment
  • Good working knowledge of a wide range of security technologies i.e. AV, endpoint protection software, full disk encryption, OS patching and networking
  • Some knowledge of the scripting language e.g. Powershell
  • Networking (TCP/IP) and protocols.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Good understanding of different types of computing and mobile software
  • Ability to use deployment tool sets and maintain such tool set
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server

You stay abreast of security vulnerability notifications and turning those alerts into actionable maintenance activities

You’ll be supporting a global team by:

  • Providing frontline IT support to the London internal staff
  • Troubleshooting local IT issues (Mac, Windows 10)
  • Purchasing new equipment for existing users and the new starters
  • Building new devices for use within the network
  • Keeping devices secure
  • Maintaining the asset register and configuration management documentation
  • Administering local Active Directory and GPO
  • Administering Gmail accounts and groups
  • Administering all other cloud and on-premise based services
  • Administering the Office 365 accounts
  • Maintaining the IP phone system, prepare mobile devices (iOS, Android) including setting up new numbers and handsets
  • Maintaining the onsite IT equipment store
  • Maintaining uptime of office WiFi and internet services
  • Packaging and deployment of common software packages (Java, Flash, Acrobat, etc)
  • Production and maintenance of standardised builds within end-user-computing environments

You must have

A background in IT support both on hardware and software

Natural interest in IT security

Ability to communicate technical problems in layman's terms

Passion for technology

Excellent people skills

Excellent communication skills

Enjoy working in a fast-paced team and are comfortable talking to people at all levels of the business
