Chapman Tate Associates is seeking a IT Support Technician to join an established Managed Service Provider based in Birmingham . This is a varied role which, for the majority of the time, will be customer facing. If you have an MSP background, a strong generalist knowledge of physical and virtual servers and experience in a customer facing role, this could be for you.
Your well-mannered approach, social and technical skills will enable you to successfully explain and resolve technical issues that have been escalated from customers with a varied technical background.
To be considered for this position, you’ll have experience with:
- Windows Server 2008-2016 and Active Directory
- Hyper-V/ VMware/ Citrix
- Exchange 2016/ Office 365
- Network administration and configuration
- Resolving technical issues over the phone/ face to face
It would be advantageous if you had:
- 2 years’ experience working in an MSP/ VAR environment
- Migrating Exchange to Office365
You will need a full UK Driving Licence.
