IT Support Technician - Server, Networking, 1st/2nd Line Support - Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Litchfield, Wolverhampton - £18,000 - £27,000

The Role

In this role you will lead on routine administration and maintenance of key IT Services, systems and infrastructure across the organisation. You will provide IT Support for the internal users and work alongside the Service Desk Manager on equipment and systems replacement projects.


Alongside IT support you will also be expected to provide ad hoc training as required by the hospice as well as liaise with external organisations in relation to escalated issues and follow, maintain and contribute to IT documentation, processes and standards.

You will be expected to effectively deliver IT services through supporting and maintaining a variety of systems used by the organisation, you will undertake system administration and technical project work.

IT Support Technician Requirements:

  • Server Knowledge - ( Microsoft Office 2010+ - Server )
  • Networking - LAN's Wan's VPN's
  • helpdesk/service desk background

Enhanced Child & Adult workforce DBS certificate advantageous but not a must
