Job Title: IT Support Technician
Salary: £19,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Contract:Full time, Permanent - Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm,
Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm
Location: Near Stratford-upon-Avon
Our client is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician supporting their Head Office on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon. The successful candidate will be part of a rapidly expanding team which is growing from strength to strength and where you can make a positive impact within the business.
The day to day duties will involve co-ordinating and supporting the IT Manager in tasks such as general SAP B1 reporting, category reporting, bug fixes and resolution of problems. There will be a requirement to communicate with internal functions and external service providers and to provide 1st line help desk support.
Duties Include: -
*The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
*Performing physical aspect of 1st line support to ensure that the IT infrastructure is correct and up to date
*Working with the IT Manager using the IDS method (identify, discuss, resolve) to find viable solutions to problems
*Using a working knowledge of different software applications to create document reports
*Take new and improvement projects from specification to completion with assistance where required
*Day to day 1st line desktop support
Skills Required: -
*At least 2 years' experience working with SAP Business One Projects
*Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access
*Intermediate HTML, SQL
*Proven track record of achievement in problem solving in a demanding environment
*A suitable qualification in an IT related subject
*GCSE Maths and English - Grade A minimum
*A can-do attitude with the ability to use own initiative
*Excellent attention to detail
*Full clean driving licence
