Service Desk Analyst - 1st / 2nd Line Support
This thriving business is looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join them as they go through a period of substantial growth. A company of 40 employees, you will join an already established service team of 10 in St Mellons, Cardiff. You will be a key player in the IT support team, helping them continuously improve the service they offer to customers.
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to customers. Duties will involve logging and dealing with technical issues via telephone or email. You will be raising service tickets and allocating field engineers to sites where required. In addition to this you will conduct remote sessions on customers PC’s and servers. You will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service, ensuring that you are representing the business in a positive manner.
You will be a natural, proactive problem solver. You will have the right attitude to fault find and resolve issues through independent investigation. A quick learner that takes ownership of problems with a real aptitude for IT.
As an IT Support Technician you will ideally have some of the following skills/experience:
- Windows Operating Systems
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Resolving Hardware issues, e.g. printers
- Networking, LAN/WAN
- Experience working in the photocopier/printing industry
