iPP is a wholly owned subsidiary of SYNLAB, the European leader in delivery of high-quality pathology testing and imaging services and operates the Southwest Pathology Services contract ("SPS") which is a joint venture between Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Integrated Pathology Partnerships Ltd.
Our Laboratory holds ISO15189 UKAS accreditation and is an HCPC approved training laboratory. We take a leading technological approach with a state-of-the-art automated track and analytical systems in Blood Science, Digital slide scanning and Cerebro Tracking system in Histology and Kiestra TLA in Microbiology.:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to develop a career within IT to maintain information systems to support current pathology IT projects required by SPS and provide advice on pathology IT systems to laboratory staff and customers/clinicians.
In order to be considered for this position, you must therefore have the qualifications needed to meet the entry requirements for this degree programme which include:
- A-Level AAB
- IB 34/665
- BTEC DDD
- GCSE C or 4 (Grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematic)
- EU and international equivalences are available on the University website.
The successful candidate(s) dependent on experience would operate across our Hub laboratory in Taunton and our Essential Service Laboratories (ESL’s) at Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital that operate a 24/7 service.
