IT Support - Hedge Fund

A global multi-strategy hedge fund is expanding its trade floor support team in London. This is an office-based role, where you’ll support portfolio managers, traders, and executives.

You’ll report into the Head of Trade Floor Support, who has more than 20 years of buy-side experience and built the team from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Support desktops, virtual desktops (VDIs), mobiles, video conferencing, and market data platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, VMware, Citrix, and Bloomberg.
• Provide VIP support to front-office and senior stakeholders.
• Automate workflows with PowerShell, Splunk, and Power Automate.
• Occasional travel to support global offices and infrastructure build-outs.

Requirements:

• Buy-side experience in a desktop/trade floor support role.
• Experience providing VIP support.
• Confidence with Microsoft and Apple platforms, VMware, Citrix, Intune, Jamf, and Azure.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or other market data/trading applications.
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Splunk, or similar).
• Calm under pressure, with a professional approach.
