Initial 3 Month contract - £150 per day
This is a fantastic role for a Desktop Support Engineer to join one of our most prestigious clients in Southampton.
In this Desktop Support Engineer role you shall provide technical support and advice. You shall adhere to Service Level agreements with the business, as well as operational Level Agreements within IT.
You must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills and have previous IT desktop/rollout/deskside experience. This could come from an single site or a field technician environment and you will have provided 1st/2nd line support on a range of issues.
You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge in the following :
*PC/Laptop support - hardware diagnoses & configuration
*Printer support - hardware diagnoses & configuration
*Active Directory, user administration
*Windows Operating System (XP & Windows 7)
*MS Office 2010 including MS Outlook
*This role will also require travel to other local sites, a vehiclke can be supplied for working hours but therefore a full driving license is essential.
You must have exceptional communication skills. Any experience in the public sector would be a bonus.

Please note successful candidates must of lived in the United Kingdom for the last 3 years due to a vetting process they will need to go through if successful.
