IT - Support Engineer

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic IT support engineer to work alongside our current team in London on a full time basis.

Areas of Responsibility & brief description Responsibility Level:

1. Ensuring all the calls are reported to HP helpdesk and are resolved as per the SLA’s

2. Audit Compliance: Making sure all hardware within VFS is under audit compliance. If system is moving out of VFS network permanently it needs to be completely formatted. Coordinating with Managers + Supervisors to ensure audit compliance is met in VAC

3. Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary

4. Diagnose and resolve technical issues

5. Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops

6. Reporting faults and maintaining logs on desktops and laptops

7. Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained

8. Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers

9. Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters

Qualification & Experience:

1. Working/Hands-on Experience of MS Office 2003 / 2007 / 2010and MS Windows XP, Vista & 7

2. Working Experience on LAN and WAN Network
