Service Desk Analyst offering a salary between £28k and £30k, required by an expanding IT Managed Service Provider to support multiple client sites based within the Cambridge and London City areas. The Service Desk Analyst will provide an approximate 80/20, 1st/2nd line split offering remote helpdesk support (circa 15-20 tickets a day), and where required, onsite, hands-on support. The Service Desk Analyst will support around 350 end users.
Day to day, the Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's systems and applications are consistently running to a high standard involving the maintenance and issue resolution of infrastructure, hardware, and software. The Service Desk Analyst will be able to escalate more complex issues to Engineers who will have the ability to deploy projects accordingly. Even though a majority of the support is provided via a service desk environment, this is very much an organisation that prides itself on an apprachable and friendly work force so, enjoying social interaction, forming meaningful relationships with end clients is a must. As such, the Service Desk Analyst will have an approachable and personable personality capable of delivering a high standard of service.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional customer-facing communication skills
- Knowledgeable in supporting Windows systems and servers
- Experience with the management of Office 365 and Sharepoint
- Adept in the support of computer hardware, software, security and networking
- MCSA or relevant IT qualifications
- Previous experience in a MSP environment, particularly servicing clients within the healthcare, eduaction or charity sectors
