A very successful and leading Oxfordshire business are looking to add to their successful team an IT Support Assistant. This company has proven continuous growth and can offer a good working environment and potential progression for the right candidate.

The IT Support Assistant

As an IT Support Assistant, you will be responsible for managing various queries and helping solve queries and problems over the phone and face to face. This IT Support role will require the knowledge of maintaining and creating networks - you may also need to provide user guides.
The role will involve the implementation of new applications and systems. The IT Support Assistant will also be required to set up new USER accounts, profiles and passwords and also solve password issues going forward. Managing the database is also a crucial part of this role.

The Ideal Candidate

This IT Support role will be very busy at times and so the ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and to a high standard in varying tasks. It is not a large team and so it is important that you can bring the right attitude to get the work done correctly and within a reasonable time frame - but to also carry out your work in a friendly and positive manner that is supportive in its nature to your colleagues.

The IT Support Assistant will be knowledgeable with basic networking principles, they will have VPN experience and RDP or Remote Access Experience. Coming from a 1st, 2nd or 3rd line support background would be beneficial.

The IT Support Assistant will be expected to know how to install PC's and Printers.

What's On Offer

The successful IT Support Assistant will be provided with an annual salary of up to £25,000. This is a full time role, working from 9.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday. Generous holiday allowance, on top of bank holidays are given, as well as other benefits such as Health Care once passing the probationary period.
