Avanti Recruitment are working with a global FTSE250 business based in Guildford to recruit for an IT Support Analyst.
Our client has a huge global presence with offices throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Your role will be to provide IT desk-side support to their Guildford office as well as remote and telephone support to their global offices when required.
You will be the sole Analyst within the Guildford office with the support of the IT Trainer who will provide you with the guidance and mentoring required to get you up to speed.
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring all requests are actioned in a timely manner and recorded accurately.
- Daily checks of equipment, devices and equipment including PC’s, laptops, smartphones etc.
- Involved in the movement of PC’s and telephony equipment when required.
- On-going maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of devices.
- Communicating with the technical Support team.
- Assisting with the maintenance and creation of new IT related documentation.
The role will require you to not only work well independently but as part of a wider team, with excellent communication a must as you will be dealing with professionals and stakeholders. You’ll have good knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Windows 7 and 10, excellent troubleshooting skills and be ITIL aware. Bonus points if you have experience within the legal sector!
